Privacy policy
How Verbs Consulting collects, uses, shares, secures, and retains information.
Last updated: July 25, 2026
Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Verbs Inc., operating as Verbs Consulting (“Verbs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles personal information collected through verbsconsulting.com, consultation scheduling, support requests, subscription setup, and delivery of our services. A client agreement or data-processing addendum may provide additional terms for information handled within a client system.
Information you provide
We collect information you choose to provide, including your name, work email, organization, website or system address, project interests, support category, priority, message content, consultation details, and related correspondence. We may also receive business contact details, content, account information, and access permissions needed to perform authorized client work.
Please do not submit passwords, secret keys, full payment-card details, health information, government identifiers, or other highly sensitive information through ordinary website forms.
Information collected automatically
When you use the website, our hosting, security, and analytics providers may collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, approximate location, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps, cookie identifiers, and diagnostic or security events.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries; confirm and route support requests; schedule consultations; prepare proposals; provide, secure, monitor, and improve services; administer subscriptions and client relationships; troubleshoot systems; prevent misuse; maintain business records; comply with legal obligations; and protect the rights, safety, and systems of Verbs, our clients, and others.
Transactional communications
When you submit a contact or support form, we use the provided email address to send a confirmation and to respond to the request. These are service-related communications rather than marketing messages. Amazon Simple Email Service may process the sender, recipient, content, and technical delivery information needed to send and monitor those messages.
Payments and subscriptions
Stripe processes subscription checkout and payment information. Verbs receives transaction and subscription details needed to administer service, such as customer contact information, plan, billing status, and payment outcome. Verbs does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers through this website.
Scheduling and Google services
If you book a consultation, Google Calendar and related Google services may process the details you submit. Google services may also support business email, analytics, documents, and operational workflows. Information handled by Google is subject to the relevant Google terms and privacy practices.
Analytics and cookies
We may use Google Analytics and similar technologies to understand traffic, page use, device patterns, and website performance. These services may use cookies or comparable identifiers. Browser settings and available consent controls can be used to limit certain cookies, although disabling them may affect some functionality.
Portfolio previews and external sites
The portfolio may display or link to client websites. Loading an embedded preview or visiting an external site may allow that site and its providers to receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details or to use their own cookies. Those sites operate under their own privacy policies.
How information is shared
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that support hosting, cloud infrastructure, email delivery, analytics, scheduling, payments, security, professional advice, and business operations; with a client or authorized collaborator when needed for the requested work; during a business transaction; or when required to comply with law, enforce agreements, or protect rights and safety.
Providers receive only the information reasonably needed for their role and operate under their own terms or contractual obligations.
Client-system information
When a client authorizes Verbs to access a website, hosting account, domain, email environment, CRM, payment platform, or other system, we use that access only to perform authorized work, secure and maintain the environment, document the work, and meet legal or contractual duties. The client remains responsible for deciding what information its systems collect and for providing required notices and permissions to its own users.
Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to requests, provide and document services, maintain security and business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, accounting, or contractual obligations. Retention periods vary by record type, client requirements, and provider settings. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably required.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, including access controls and secure service providers. No website, transmission, or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe sensitive information or credentials were submitted improperly, contact us promptly.
International processing
Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on available contractual or legal mechanisms for cross-border processing.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about certain uses or disclosures of personal information. You may also object to or withdraw consent for certain processing where applicable. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where permitted or required by law.
Children
The website and services are intended for businesses and adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website.
Policy updates
We may update this policy as our services, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated date will appear on this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or another appropriate channel.
